Virtual Foundation Heals Rift Through Chinese American Friendship Forest Project (Updated: 6-10-99)

THANK YOU for taking the time to find out about the Virtual Foundation. We create partnerships among individuals and groups in order to support environment and health projects across Eurasia. Activities supported by you through the Virtual Foundation are designed to significantly improve the quality of life for people in countries struggling with great economic or social change. Virtual Foundation projects have no source of funding other than online donations. We develop and support projects in cooperation with Virtual Foundation Consortium Member organizations. Consortium members have offices and staff working "in country" with groups they know well. They work at the regional and local level to develop community project proposals with low cost budgets. Proposals for these projects are then posted on the Virtual Foundation website where they can be funded by online donors like you. By becoming a donor or encouraging your organization to become a donor, you can support and participate in positive change with a global neighbor. To donate, go to the Donate Page by clicking Donate at the bottom of any page. After contributing to a project, you have several options, made possible by electronic communications and unique to the Virtual Foundation. You may communicate directly with the organizations you fund, you may become a partner in or advisor to the projects you fund, and you may monitor the progress of your projects online.
