I am grateful to the Virtual Foundation. Thank you for responding and providing help for our Museum of Nature in the City of Usole-Siberia, in the oblast (administrative region) of Irkutsk. Our city is situated 170 KM from Lake Baikal. It may seem that
this isn't far, but never the less, in the situation that has developed
today, each individual cannot visit Lake Baikal.
Our museum is young; it is but four years old. Accordingly, it still does not have at its disposal a fully complete exhibit, that is of stuffed animals, birds, and fish in the territory of our region known for its pearl sacred lake Baikal. The money sent by you will be used for the further design of the museum, in particular a corner (section) of the flora and fauna of Lake Baikal and the Baikal Preserve. The goal is to familiarize the largest possible number of people with the beauty situated on the banks of the renowned sea and beneath it.
It is gratifying to realize that in far
away America there are people who are not indifferent to our nature. We will always be happy to take you into the walls of our museum if it suddenly happens that you will be in Siberia.
We hope for a long connection with you. We will definitely inform you of everything which we will acquire with the money sent to us by you, dear sirs. Besides that, we will try to take photos, too.
