General Criteria for Virtual Foundation Proposals

1. Projects submitted to the Virtual Foundation must be in one of the following categories:
   Environment;
   Human Health;
   Community Building and Sustainable Economic
   Activity;
   Increasing the Capacity of Grassroots Organizations.
   
2. Projects should have a concrete outcome.
3. Research proposals, such as investigative studies or projects to simply document existing problems are not acceptable.
4. Project budgets must be under 5000 USD; although budgets under 2000 USD are encouraged.
